Rob Elliott

Rob Elliott, a farmer in Warren County, Ill., serves on the Corn Board of the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA), a grower-led trade association with offices in St. Louis and Washington.
Elliott, along with two brothers, his 87-year-old father and a nephew, farms corn and soybeans while running a growing seed business. He has been a farmer for 35 years.
On the national level, Elliott serves on NCGA’s Finance Committee, chairs the association’s Bylaws Committee and co-chairs the Commodity Classic Committee for 2014. Previously, he served as the organizational representative to the Waterways Council.
In his home state, Elliott has served as president of the Illinois Corn Growers Association. Prior to this, he served as vice president, secretary and treasurer of the state organization.
Elliott earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Illinois State University in Normal. He and his wife, Stephanie, have four children: Eric, Jared, Robbie and Gina.
Founded in 1957, the National Corn Growers Association represents approximately 35,000 dues-paying corn growers and the interests of more than 300,000 farmers who contribute through corn checkoff programs in their states. NCGA and its 48 affiliated state associations and checkoff organizations work together to help protect and advance corn growers’ interests.
